I am actually convinced of the possibilities of Anvil, but I don’t find the layout beautiful/state of the art right away, with the exception of the ticketing app in the examples. However, I don’t want to hire an external designer for a beautiful app. There are visually wonderful templates from other providers (for example: shuffle.dev) or whole basic apps (for example appseed.us). Is it possible to use such templates as a starting point for development with Anvil, i.e. to program the respective functions of the templates in Anvil? If this is possible, I would be very grateful if someone could publish a small tutorial.
I use Anvil because it allows me to create web apps quickly, not because it creates pretty web apps

As long as you put in a little thought into putting the anvil slots into HTML templates, you can use any one of the layouts across the web. Same for most well designed components: you can just build HTML component and CSS to match and have your app entirely custom. The JS bridge makes it all work perfectly.
