What I’m trying to do:
Host an app myself.
What I’ve tried and what’s not working:
Export is missing / Docs are lacking

From the docs: " Deploy on your own hardware: You can export Anvil apps from the cloud editor, and host them on any computer, using the open-source Anvil App Server."
Where is this export?
So I guess I just have to git clone my editor app to my server and run from there? Is there no special souce needed?

These include instructions for exporting your app and hosting it on popular cloud services.
To export, like you said, use the git clone link from the anvil editor.

Little suggestion: You should have Awesome Anvil page on Github with the usual stuff (definitely with a link to the Talk Python Anvil course)
