Very excited to have found Anvil. After dedicating the last 9 months to learning Python I really didnāt want to go back to learning JavaScript to create an app. Found Anvil after searching for ādevelop apps using Pythonā and Anvil appeared in an article of comparison. I am surprised the Anvil website didnāt appear in the search results because it seems perfect and exactly what I am looking for!
I am a recently qualified (and older - 57 years old) full-stack developer trying to figure out her next move. Interested in AI/Chatbots and AI ethics. Still going through DataCamp courses in python/data. I know I want to create products but I am just not sure what to build or even whether I have the skills to build it. Would love to own a SaaS.

Hi, Iām Drew Carson. Iām a PhD psychologist now working on a solopreneur startup, Insta Report (instareport.us), which Iām developing purely in Anvil. It will provide online assessment and reporting to support the development and of children and adults. My journeyman career includes traditional faculty, test development, psychology/psychometric research, institutional research, psychotherapy/testing, and now web development/startup roles. As a sidenote, I first used AI to support psychological test interpretation back in the 1990s (neural networks to model counselor interpretations of aptitude test results), and am only now picking up that line of development again. I started learning python 4 years ago (thanks, Coursera!) and discovered Anvil about 3 years ago through a python-focused podcast while driving across the country during the pandemic. Iām launching Insta Report with a a screener to help parents refer their children to schools for special education evaluations. Iām planning to extend the site with more assessments (including those reporting scale scores) and AI-based products. The Anvil community seems so expert in areas of software/web development and python, and I am grateful for access to this expertise. Thank you all! I would be happy to help with anything, but again my areas of experience fall more into learning/education, psychology, mental health, scale development and assessment/psychometrics, and aspects of AI.

Hi, Iām Pablo from Valencia (Spain). My background is in the social sciences with a PhD in Psychology, but I have spent most of my career as an international consultant doing data science and AI-related work.
I have been playing with Anvil for a few months and I am getting ready to launch my first Anvil app: QualBot! With this app, I am hoping to scratch my own itch: I often work with data from focus group discussions and in-depth interviews with experts. While I love those conversations, analyzing the transcripts and writing a report takes a long time and is a bit of a slog. QualBot is an AI agent that implements thematic analysis to generate detailed reports and codebooks.
While most of the work for the app has been on the development of the agentic workflow, I am super grateful to Anvil and the Anvil community for the great product and knowledge base, which have allowed me to create a robust interface in little time.

Iām working on the YouTube campaign now and adding a few more features to the site. Then in October I plan to start working on my second assessment. QualBot sounds like a great idea BTW. Hello, I am Edbert, I am from Indonesia. I encountered anvill and fell the usefullness to embed python code to no code web app. I often used python for helping to analyze and clean data. I am currently building an app to handle multiple sales data and then convert it into a master stock data to easily view the data.
I live in Florida, retired 2 years ago, was an engineer then a volleyball coach. My āhobbyā, so to speak, is creating an app to analyze statistics for beach volleyball to really empower elite coaches to individualize training and scouting.
Anvil puts everything in one place for me. I experimented with a few other platforms, but seems like they required me to integrate too many technologies, which would slow me down or stop me. So far, Anvil has been great!
