šŸ‘‹ Introduce yourself!

Hi! Here is Tom from Switzerland. I stumbled upon Anvil by chance after searching for the right solution for a long time. I was immediately impressed: everything is integrated and simplifies full-stack app development! The documentation is great.
I don’t work in IT but used to program in other languages as a hobby. Now I’m learning Python etc. and reading through the forum and have already found great hints and solutions for realizing my ideas. Thank you very much!

Hello, I’m Richard from Amsterdam. I am an legacy cobol dinosaur, playing with python/django in my free time. Now I want to try-out Anvil, for smaller projects, mainly for hobby / nonprofit / open source. I just signed up and working my way though the first Feedback Form turorial. I already bump into a problem: when I run, I don’t see the labels. The rest seems to work fine. Anyone had the same problem? Or better, a solution? Any Dutch users here?

I’m a backend dev trying to make my own app for a startup. I’ve worked in cpp for 6+ years. I hope to delay learning javascript a little longer.

This is my first time building an app from scratch, and I appreciate learning from everyone here.

Hi,

I’m Terry from HK who lived in UK for 14 years when I was young. I’ve moved back to HK in the 90’s and have career as IT Infrastructure and Project management mainly from banking and more recently worked on different migration projects in other industries including chemical and pharmaceutical as independent consultant/programme manager. I have recently studying Data Science-Machine Learning and Gen AI tools to add to my portfolio, and I need a quick and easy way to showcase any AI related solution on the web that people case participate on using and give feedbacks. Seen Anvil give a great quick and easy platform. Still working on it and hopefully at some stage I can have some solution released or be pilot tested using this platform.
