What I’m trying to do:
Run an app in a Safari browser on mobile, and getting this javascript error.
This happens with every app I have. I tried it with a blank app - still happening.
- This only happens on Safari on iPhone
- Every other browser / device combination I have tried is working.
Here’s what it says in the app log:
: TypeError: undefined is not an object (evaluating ‘n.features’)
I’m not seeing this, tried my apps and the link in your screenshot.
Could you share the iOS/safari version and any other steps to reproduce beyond going to the URL
iOS 17.5.1. I just upgraded to 17.6.1 and problem went away.
Spoke too soon - still there. I am using an iPhone 12 mini.
Firefox focus works fine. So does chrome.
Safari has the above error.
Arc Search (a new-ish mobile browser) v1.27.1 has a “script error”.
This is confusing as my understanding was that iOS browsers are all based on webkit… so it has to be downstream of that
Here’s a completely clean blank app:
Ok - yes - after updating Arc on my phone i see this error.
But only in Arc.
I don’t see this error on Safari I’m afraid, and Arc Search isn’t easy to debug.
Moved to bug reports.
It’s quite suspicious that it comes after an update.
For the Safari, it would be helpful to see if you can reproduce it consistently on other devices. (I tried on iPhone 13 mini - 17.5.1 and 17.6.1 - and saw no errors)
Can’t reproduce the Safari issue on an iPhone 13 (17.6.1) or 14.
It’s fine if it is just my device
