I don’t see why assigning names to slots out of alphabetical order should be considered “wrong” – or, put another way, why it would be desirable for the IDE to enforce slots’ placement to be alphabetically ordered top-to-bottom/left-to-right.
I agree.
My solution is really a workaround, waiting for the actual fix.
I guess people don’t name slots too often and no one else had reported it yet.
Yes this is a limitation with slots. We’ll have a look and see if there’s an easy fix. It does feel like insertion order should be preserved. Thanks for highlighting
