What I’m trying to do:
Hi Guys I am trying to share the link of my Anvil app on Facebook Messenger and for some reason I keep getting error. I’ve tried the custom URL one (no domain) and I have tried the standard Anvil link that it gives me when I publish. Neither of those links are working/can be sent through on messenger.

Is this a common issue?

What I’ve tried and what’s not working:
I’ve tried sending the message to different people etc. I’ve tried at different times of the day and devices (like laptops and desktops on Facebook Web and Messenger Web) and still the message is not sending and I get an error

What error are you getting, if it has a name or an explanation of what goes wrong?

I have experienced the same issue on Instagram. Apparently, Facebook doesn’t recognize links of Anvil app as authorized without a custom domain. Although you might be able to work around this problem using Linktree

I’m afraid this is a known problem, and unless Facebook changes something on their end, there’s little we can do. I second the suggestion by divyeshlakhotia to use a URL util to work around this problem for now.
