A while ago, Anvil added a new feature which allowed us to create our own custom email for password reset, confirmation email and magic link. However it doesn’t seem to be working anymore. Here’s a clone link.

It is happening with all my apps.
As you can see in my clone link, I made some very small changes to the email for confirmation. However, I still get the default email message.

I’m afraid I still can’t reproduce the error with a clone of that app. Would you be happy for us to investigate and modify the original in your account?

We think we’ve figured out the issue, and it’s that Custom Emails aren’t available on the Free Plan (otherwise it’d be very easy to turn Anvil into a spam machine!). There are now docs to this effect and the IDE says as much when you go to the Users Service configuration page.
If I remember correctly, you used to be on an Individual Plan, and therefore probably stopped being able to configure emails when you downgraded, which explains why it ‘used’ to work but now doesn’t.
No, I haven’t been on Individual Plan. But the custom emails used to work only when the custom email feature had emerged.
