PyCon UK 2022 (16-18 September)

Is anyone here planning to come to PyCon UK 2022 in September?

I’m one of the organisers and Anvil are sponsoring the event, so there will be a few of us around. It would be great to meet anyone else from here in person!

Also, you might want to hear the opening keynote from the one and only @hannah !!

We’ve just released the full schedule:

(well, the first version of it. If previous experience is anything to go by, its life expectancy is low).

If you are thinking of coming but haven’t yet bought a ticket, now is the time to do it. We don’t have many places left.

The hallmark of a keynote talk is how often it’s subsequently quoted. Today’s by @hannah had two quotes before the day was out.

Stunningly good.

Thanks @owen.campbell I’m blushing! It felt like a great note to end my time with Anvil on. (For those who don’t know, my husband and I are moving to York and I’m going to be full-time parenting for a bit - my little one is 18 months now, that sped by!)

Look forward to staying in touch and continuing to share my Raspberry Pi and Anvil hobby projects on here
