Organize "My Apps"

Hi

Managing apps in the “My Apps” section becomes difficult once you have more than just a handful. It’s currently a long, flat list with minimal information and no way to organize or batch-manage apps.

Example

Here’s a quick screen recording showing how it currently looks and why this becomes hard to manage with many apps:

Suggested Improvements

1. Folders or Tags

Ability to group apps, e.g. “Client Projects”, “Internal Tools”, “Archived”, etc.

2. More Metadata

Show additional app information directly in the dashboard, such as:

  • If the app is published (and what URL)
  • Last published vs. last edited date
  • Number of database tables / rows used
  • Whether background/scheduled tasks or uplink are enabled

3. Batch Actions

Allow selecting multiple apps to:

  • Delete
  • Move (if folders/tags are added later)
  • Archive or unpublish

4. Search & Filtering

Search by name, tags, or metadata. Filter by published/unpublished, date modified, etc.

Thanks

Hi Tobias
This feature request has appeared in the forum from time to time. I have also given my 2 cents here: App Management.
I then followed the recommendations of @stefano.menci and @p.colbert and went for a combination of bookmarks and external repository to organise my apps, code snippets, ideas, etc.
And an ‘account dashboard’ was suggested, see here: Account Dashboard.

I have bumped the internal feature request we have for app folders and related features! (As a person with a seemingly infinite number of apps, I would also really love these)
