The world runs on documents. Invoices, reports, summaries, letters…once they’re on a computer, they’re all in PDF format. But generating PDFs from Python has always been a messy process – until now.
You can now generate PDFs from Anvil Forms. Use the drag-and-drop designer to build your page, then create a PDF with one function call. Then, of course, it’s a Media object – you can download it, save it in a Data Table, attach it to an email, or return it from an HTTP API endpoint.
You can even use Anvil’s PDF generation as a library from your existing Python code, thanks to the Uplink!
