I want to create a multi-language application where I can switch between english and french or other language

Lots of ways to do this. Easiest way is in browser translation, which works (e.g. with chrome) without you having to do anything in Anvil at all.
Second is have a language selector, use it set a global and select your content text on that basis (setting labels, buttons, links, etc) in code.
If you also search the Show and Tell section, somebody made a wrapper for multi-lingual apps.
