[Fixed] New IDE - Something went wrong rendering this part of the Anvil Editor

What I’m trying to do:
I tried to switch to the new IDE, but I get a grey screen with the above error message.
I can edit Datatables.
I can edit servercode modules
I cannot edit any forms, as they don’t render to the screen

What I’ve tried and what’s not working:
I’ve tried switching to Classic Editor, then back to New.
I’ve tried deleting all my history in both Chrome and Safari, restarting the browsers and trying again (didn’t work)
I’ve searched the Forum and it looks like I might need to send a link for my app to the Support email address.

I don’t wish to share a clone of my app, as it is a LIVE customer app. Here is a screenshot of the error though.

Anyone else getting this problem?

Have you tried with another app?
Have you tried to checkout an older commit?

Good Morning @stefano.menci - thanks for the quick response.

I can use the new IDE in a different App.

Changing to an older commit doesn’t seem to make a difference. I’ve tried several older commits, refreshing the browser again etc.

One of the previous Forum posts talked about Dependencies, and here is a screenshot of the dependencies for this App.

Hi @robert.heelan , thanks for reporting.

Could you see if there’s any obvious errors in either:

• the designer output (in the bottom panel)
• the browser console

The error messages will help us track it down.

Sorry about that - we’ll get it fixed! (As a quick fix - go to your roles and deselect Show In Toolbox. One or more of these roles is causing the blow up)

Hi @stucork it was indeed a Role.
I went to Themes->Roles and then went through my own created roles until I found the culprit.
I unticked the Show in Toolbox checkbox, and now the IDE renders the forms properly

Thanks for your help, I thought I did a thorough search of the forum before raising my request.
