I’m getting this error on my screen in Anvil:
Cannot destructure property ‘ref’ of ‘e’ as it is undefined.
I just merged a branch into master and it’s showing up on master.
Should I be worried?

In am also receiveing this error using the new Designer:
Cannot destructure property 'forms' of 'a.content' as it is undefined.
This occurred when I was loading a form.
Same here, struggling with the editor this morning.
I just encountered this error myself and worked around it by going to the basic URL for the app:
https://anvil.works/build/apps/<App ID>
.
What I’m trying to do:
Just access my apps (can send examples via DM to Anvil staff).
What I’ve tried and what’s not working:
The spinner spins endlessly, the app is not loading completely, sometimes not at all, and is extremely slow in general.
If this is because I’ve reached some kind of limit it would be great to be able to check that somehow. Last I heard this was not an issue, though.
Update: Problem seems to be gone now. Weird.
My team and I are constantly receiving different errors while our code is being saved in the Anvil editor. Our apps are all seem to be working, but can’t save changes in the editor.
“Can’t read properties of undefined”
“Cannot destructure propoert ‘ref’ of ‘e’ as it is undefined”
This has been happening all day and quite often over the last week.
Pretty sure this is the same as this one:
I have got the same issue as well…
The same issue was reported last Friday in this post:
The Anvil Staff should be aware of the issue. Let’s just hope it gets resolved soon.
Hi folks,
I can confirm we experienced availability issues with the Editor earlier today, between about 06:00 and 07:00 and 10:00 and 10:25UTC today. We have tracked down the cause, which turned out to be related to the GitHub automatic sync system. We’ve deployed an initial fix to prevent this issue recurring. However, it does have some side effects on GitHub sync, described below:
