Hi,
Over the last few days, I noticed that there is a significant performance improvement. Tasks used to take 8 seconds, now is only 1s.
Does anyone experience the same?

Just tried it now. Very significant. IDE starts faster. Other operations, too. It’s a very welcome improvement. However our friends did it, we should thank them.
I’m tempted to guess at the cause. But let’s wait for an insider’s comment.
Hi All,
It’s good to see you’re feeling the improvements. We’ve been shipping quite a few behind-the-scenes performance improvements lately, and there are more in the pipeline!
Particular shout outs for the most recent changes go to @stucork , who has more than doubled the performance of client-side Python code with a recent batch of Skulpt improvements (we’re contributing those upstream, of course), and to @meredydd for back-end speedups.
The rest of the platform dev team aren’t sleeping on the job, either - just you wait til you see what @daviesian and @Bridget are cooking up next!
I really appreciate the team for the improvements. Such a great work
