Hello,
I’m trying to add a third party dependency and I receive this message:
If it’s relevant, I’m on the Professional plan, and the app I’m trying to import is made with the free plan. How this is working for apps like anvil_extras?

Hi @andyfe,
Do you own the app that you are trying to use as a dependency? You can only depend on apps that you own. If you don’t own the app, you can clone a copy into your account.
Third-party apps like Anvil Extras have third-party app tokens that can be added in the Dependencies dialog.
For more information, please see our documentation: Anvil Docs | Depending on Other Apps
Hi @brooke,
That’s the thing, I do not own the app, and just saw the procedure for enabling third party apps - thank you for directing me there!
I’m getting this same error, and I DO own the apps. For context, I cloned this app from one of my other “Template” apps and initially put “include dependencies” when cloning. When I noticed they (the dependencies) were clones, I deleted them and tried to include the original dependencies, and this is what I’m now getting.
