The difference in speed, versus 4 hours ago, is remarkable. Perceptually, we’re seeing a slowdown by a factor of 10 or more.
Simple server calls, such as a minor database lookup (e.g., retrieving the current user’s last-edited db record) are actually timing out.
Is anyone else in North America experiencing this problem?

I sent an email to the support, I hope they are already working on it.

I suspect someone’s bug kept the db real busy.
I haven’t noticed any slowdown for a while now.
Since the above bug report, there has been steady recovery. Seems normal now.

Apologies for the slow-down this evening. We’re aware of the issue and working on it, and things are now back to normal. We’ll keep a close eye on things.
There will be a brief period of downtime tomorrow morning around 07:00 UTC (2020-02-19) while we upgrade parts of our infrastructure to prevent further problems. This should last no more than a few minutes, and I will post here again to confirm when it’s done.
