i have a landing page that I am working on
and I want it to have a video that will auto play once the user opens the page
Ive tried the youtube component thing but it is not quite what I want
something like the one Apple does:
The most powerful Mac laptops and desktops ever. Supercharged by Apple silicon. MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac mini, Mac Studio, and Mac Pro.
Designed for Apple Intelligence. Discover the new iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 16, and iPhone 16 Plus.
i want to make something similar to the videos in these websites
i havent really tried any other solution apart from the youtube component
is there a way to do this?
thanks
Hello @cosmos.official.nlcs
You need to be more specific about what you are trying to do if you want others to help you.
Anvil’s Youtube component can be set to autoplay
when the page/form loads – and that was the only functionality that you actually specified.

ok
to put it simply,
when the video auto-plays, I don’t want to see the youtube title screen
(the red progress bar and icons)
Here is a custom component with some of those things (the autoplay still isn’t working):
Here is the link to google’s documentation for applying other features you want or need.

YouTube’s API doesn’t provide parameters to hide those elements; they are part of the video hosting service’s branding.
If you have access (and rights) to a non-YouTube-hosted video that you want to use, the thread in which the following post appears includes a discussion that may be helpful.

Good luck!
