Today we get often ‘server code took to long’ in codes which normally works well. We are on the dedicated plan - anybody else getting that speed problem?
Please dear Anvil-Team have a look at it - what has changed?

Following up on this: The original cause here was an unhappy database for a customer with Extra Server Resources, combined with a failure of our fair queuing system that normally prevents one overloaded customer from affecting other customers in our shared hosting infrastructure. The impact was long queues and therefore slower than usual throughput on one of our backend servers; this affected some users more than others depending on where your session/app as being served.
The situation was diagnosed and resolved at around 14:50 UTC. We’ve tabled both ideas for improving our queue and workload management systems and also monitoring improvements that would have led to a faster diagnosis and fix. Apologies to the affected users!

Has this issue popped up again? Some of our apps have started showing slow server responses just now.
Ok, it looks like that was a very brief glitch. Speeds are back to normal now, it seems.
I started experiencing this yesterday and am still experiencing it today. Is it definitely 100% fixed?
Yesterday everything worked fine, but today I’m seeing issues with an HTTP endpoint that normally behaves as expected. Occasionally, it hangs for a few minutes and eventually returns a corrupted response.
I’m also experiencing a very slow server today (and yesterday) and also that I cannot login into my application (spinner for several minutes) and have to refresh the browser several times to be presented the login screen.
I’m also getting server issues with background task.
In this context, I’d also like to mention that when I start almost all my private apps, the server execution is very slow or keeps pending, resulting in a timeout error. Usually, if I quit the app and restart it immediately, normally it works again. This is very annoying.
Sorry to revive this but I am seeing my users increasingly getting server timeout errors over the last 2 days.
