Uplink error (connection reset)

We are facing the same problem since one week ago withoun recieve an answer about how to solve it in the previous posts.

Since last week we are facing some problems with the anvil uplink connection. When we try to run this, resolves with the error “ConnectionResetError [WinError 10054]”
The apps ids are:
WJ4MEGRVOOFP2NEP
IXSBHQQQQZ4QQKQ6

We need your help because we have been having the same problem for a week.

This is a generic windows connection error code, most commonly this means (usually in this order)

  1. The password or key is wrong or
  2. Your firewall (or corporate/organization firewall) is blocking egress access to anvil.works over wss or
  3. You have no internet or
  4. something else with windows and multiple adapters for internet access

If it is #2 you will need someone in your organization to whitelist anvil.works to be able to use uplink.

Hi @dvaldizan,

Unfortunately this report doesn’t provide a lot of detail, so it’s hard to see immediately what’s going wrong.

Could you tell us a bit more about the problem? Does it happen all the time or intermittently? Does it happen when you first attempt to connect, or does it happen after some time? Does the uplink successfully reconnect afterwards? Can you provide example output from the uplink script? These sorts of details are probably going to be relevant.

As other users appear not to be experiencing this problem, one of my initial suspicions is that you are running this behind a corporate firewall that is in some way interfering with or blocking this connection. Can you replicate this problem while connecting from outside the firewall?
