Simple text formatting in Anvil?

Is there some way to display DYNAMICALLY formatted text (eg parts in bold)?
eg like using good ol’ b tags etc . .

Is there a reason why style="background-color:#f00;" in the relevant HTML tag is not adequate?

I tried that, it didn’t work.
My custom form sits in a column panel on a normal form.
I’ll share the app with you after I try a few more things . .
