I am keen to know everyones ideas on whether it is ethical in these forums to promote a Paid library or set of packaged code that has taken a lot of time and money to produce but that one thinks would be very beneficial for other Anvil users to review or buy?
If you think about it, it’s no different to the Unity Asset Store - I would consider using a service like that.
Obviously the support that comes with it is what you are also buying so definitely something to think about there. Not to mention how you manage purchases, copyright and refunds etc
Still, I like the idea.
Alternatively, you could consider the Patreon style approach.
Thanks Rick, you make good points about the pricing and followup support. We are building a product called AnvilFusion (mainly for our own use) and it combines Anvil and Syncfusion controls. Not everyone wants to use syncfusion as it does have a high price down the line but its controls are game-changing for frontend development.
