All my apps show the app log very quickly, but when I try to search for any text, they usually fail (the spinner stays on forever, but no results appear) or it takes a very long (and unusable) time.
Experiencing the same issues here.

Yeah I was trying to develop something last week that was all background tasks. Very difficult to even get out a syntax error to see where your code is broken.
Ended up using uplink to poll the task state over and over after stuffing any exceptions into it, and writing it out to a log on my pc.
When trying to check the logs I just get the spinner forever. No Joy.

This was addressed in the past: Slow logs with a handlful of entries - #10
But now rather than being slow is broken.
Any news?
Seeing very slow logs as well (not completly unusable though as you are experiencing it)
This is a high priority issue for us as well!
For me any text search on any app log hangs and the browser console shows the errors mentioned above.
