Were dedicated plans segregated from the issue?

kevin’s post in the thread yesterday indicated that even Dedicated Plan apps were impacted.

Update: The attack has resumed, this time affecting only some custom domains. We’re working on it.

To answer this question, and as detailed above, organisations with Extra Server Resources (the new name for the old “Dedicated” plan) were affected. While ESR gives you segregated resources for your Data Tables and Server Modules, you’re still running on the same shared infrastructure (such as load balancers, API servers etc) as everyone else on our standard plans – and this attack affected those central components.

This attack did not affect Anvil Enterprise customers, who get an entirely dedicated/segregated Anvil installation, whether that’s hosted in our cloud environment or in theirs. (If you’re interested, you can of course drop us a line at sales@anvil.works)

I wanted to drop in and say thank you to the Anvil team for handling this very well. I’ve seen VC backed startups not handle DDOS attacks as well as the Anvil team. Once we noticed our app down I immediately went to the forum and found this thread. Communication was great!
