Is this ongoing again? I started seeing AppOffline/1006 a little bit last week.
Now we are getting reports of this constantly - All 5+ of our apps (With custom domains) are going ‘offline’ and online at the same time. Uplinks working fine but websocket connections failing, and when trying to load in incognito getting an instant connection reset page while this is happening.
Seems to be happening every 5 minutes for anywhere between 30s-5m before working again. Saw it yesterday afternoon briefly then it has ramped up massively this morning.
Edit: I’m not sure if we are being aggressively blocked due to connection numbers, as it works at the same time on for example a mobile network connection while it’s not working on multiple devices wired in on site.
If you’ve got a lot of endpoints behind one IP that are all hitting the same app in close succession, it might indeed set off our abuse protections. I’ve tried tweaking the settings for your apps - can you try again and see if things have improved?
Thanks - it seems to be in peak hours at the minute so will keep an eye tomorrow and feed back. We only have one external IP and traffic to Anvil might ramp up quite a bit when its busy.
Sorry I tacked it on to the other thread, as it was the same sort of thing and as recent thought it may be related.
I’m also having some connection problems with my apps on Anvil, especially when there’s a lot of traffic. I haven’t seen the ‘AppOffline/1006’ error, but my websocket connections sometimes stop working, and the apps take longer to come back online.
