Rating Component (Five Star)

I need a rating component for input forms and for rendered PDF files. Are there plans to implement something like this?

This is not an answer to your feature request but there has been a few of these components built by the community. Here is a Show and Tell post on one example. Hopefully it helps

Star ratings with icons!

I’m not sure whether to be proud or ashamed, but I made a quick and dirty star rating display using the built-in font-awesome icons. I prefer these icons over images as they load much faster, scale easily, and the colors are limitless. The rating is pulled from a server module and stored as a variable. Just a quick note Ulrich - you can create custom components of your own which would mean that you could do this your self. The docs on this are below
