Contract Anvil Developer (Remote) — LMS Build-Out
We’re looking for a contract developer to help finish and polish an LMS built on Anvil. The goal is to streamline UX, tighten data flows, and tailor the app to our unique operational use case.
What you’ll do
- Refine page layouts, navigation, and mobile responsiveness in Anvil
- Simplify workflows (e.g., course assignment, progress tracking, reporting)
- Improve data models/Data Tables and client/server module structure
- Add quality-of-life features (validations, bulk actions, role-based views)
- Harden error handling, logging, and basic test coverage
- Prepare concise handoff docs
Nice to have
- Strong Anvil + Python experience (client/server modules, Data Tables, Uplink)
- Familiarity with authentication/permissions and email/PDF workflows in Anvil
- Comfortable with clean UI patterns and lightweight design systems
- Bonus: experience with LMS concepts (courses, modules, quizzes, certificates)

- Part-time with flexible hours; starts ASAP
- Scope: short build-out/cleanup cycle with clear milestones
