Problems with css vars in theme.css

Well, I tried it and it doesn’t work.
I should, but it doesn’t.

George

The save color is defined in an other css file but when I added “!important” to override it but then no color at all was displayed.
Adding the color with “#” however works in standard-page.html .

@thetaghun - i moved this to a new topic

we’ll need a little more information to help here
a small clone link with an example that’s not working would be handy
I can’t quite tell from the description what the problem is

Sorry, the color works but the NAME of the color I used was incorrect.

I inspected it and finally I figured out that I selected the wrong color name.
Because I had no idea why in the theme.css it doesn’t work.

So, it actually works!

(The actual color used was with high, 0.8 transparency, so, it was pretty much invisible on white background.)
