Problem connecting to Google Account

Hello,

I’m trying to connect to a sheet in Google Drive, loosely following a tutorial on Medium.

I added the Google API service, and when I click the “Add files from Google Drive to this app” button, a pop-up window comes up to verify my Google account, but then before I can even proceed with that, an Anvil dialog pops up that says “Unable to login to Google. An error occurred. Please try again.” Then it is just a frustrating loop that follows the same behavior.

Looks like using Chrome incognito mode and trying twice got through the login.

That’s really odd. I just tried on a new app in Chrome (not incognito), and it worked fine. Not sure what’s different on your system, but at least you got it connected.

Hi, I am getting this error. Trying to enable Gmail, going through activation and getting error “Unable to login to Google. An error occurred. Please try again.” and then account kinda “log out” - see picture. Not sure what info to provide.

Ok, so I did checked google third party access Manage connections between your Google Account and third-parties - Google Account Help and deleted anvil and then tried again to add gmail funcionality and no error.
