Just trying to get started with email tutorial

Hi, new to Anvil and just following the tutorial (to build a simple feedback form) and I get this error message at step 4:

“Full Python server required. Server REPLs are only supported on Full Python servers. Switch to a full Python server runtime to use this feature.”

As this is apparently a simple tutorial I must be doing something dumb!

Any help appreciated.

Im a beginner too, but I think you have to go to Settings > Python Versions and Packages > and change Python version to Python 3.10(Beta). Then try to run the code.

Thanks! I’m not sure what worked - I abandoned the free version thinking that must be very limiting and then noticed the choice you mention. So maybe I could still be trialling it for free! In any case I appreciate that you replied. Dave.
