Just how secret are anvil secrets?

Could someone more experienced than myself comment on the security of the encryption and how a malicious and motivated person might be able to compromise the secrets?

Are there things that you just shouldn’t store in app secrets? Are there any chances that the secrets could somehow disappear?

On your third question: It’s usually a good idea to store a secret (and other data) in more than one place, so that if it does disappear (for whatever reason), it can be restored.
