About Us:
We are a fast growing company that operatesf multiple Shopify stores and two product production facilities. Our business is expanding across new verticals and sales channels, increasing the transaction volume on our existing platforms. We have a need to enhance and scale our production operations, particularly our use of the Anvil platform. Our operations are headquartered in Australia and California, USA.
Role of Anvil in Our Operations:
Anvil serves as an integral internal tool for managing various aspects of our product production, including:
- Managing product production data
- Orchestrating product production workflow
We utilise Anvil’s capabilities to interface with external data sources through RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Additionally, we store crucial operational data in Anvil-provided data tables. Our current stack involves interactions mainly with S3, Shopify, and Shiphero.
What We’re Looking For:
We are in search of a skilled Python developer with extensive Anvil experience to help us on a contract basis. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Feature Development: Work through a backlog of tasks to add new features to our existing Anvil solution. Compensation can be structured on a cost-per-project basis, determined by an agreed-upon hourly rate and estimated work scope.

Ongoing Support: Provide continual support for bug fixes and other issues, potentially under a retainer agreement.
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have:
- Solid experience with Python and Anvil
- Experience with Shopify
- Familiarity with GraphQL
- Knowledge of barcodes and labeling systems
