Could we please have a setting to change the IDE font colours?
For example, I find the light grey horrible. Strains my ageing eyes making editing harder than I would like. I’d prefer solid blacks and solid whites.
Appreciate this won’t be to everyone’s taste, so that’s why I suggest setting.

Agree.
Some folks with high-contrast monitors may find low-contrast color schemes soothing, or may be trying to reduce artifacts from cataracts, progressive lenses, et al.
On older LCD screens, or in bright rooms, where there isn’t much contrast to begin with, lowering the contrast further can make things unreadable.
It’s not a one-size-fits-all situation.
Fortunately, with current hardware, at least there is some latitude for adjustment.
100%. This is a good idea.
There are potential software workarounds as well, right?
- On my Windows machine, I played around with the High Contrast color schemes a bit and… found that frustrating (as it slowed everything down and made some things invisible), but maybe one could customize it to work OK.
- You can use a browser extension like Stylus to customize the IDE colors to your liking. Here’s an example: Darken some Anvil IDE text — UserStyles.world

That is totally cool! Your example worked brilliantly, Well, that’s Saturday afternoon’s entertainment sorted - learning how to tune all my apps that have colours I don’t like!
