How to delete a component that is already dropped in the design page

Hi,

Silly question here. Is there a way to delete a component that’s already dropped on the design page?
Not using the “undo” button though, because I need to remove an old component without undo-ing recent activities.

Hi there,

select it by clicking on it, then press your keyboard’s “delete” button.

That should do it.

You’re welcome.

You can also select a group of controls by either holding down the control key and clicking them, or by dragging a select rectangle to cover the required controls (you do that by holding the mouse button down initially over the background form - ie not over a control - then dragging the mouse, releasing it when all required controls are covered.)

It works great (and having backspace doing it is admittedly intuitive), but I didn’t find any indication whatsoever in the UI about it. I believe it could be made more obvious for new users
