How to create an android app or ios app vs a website

When I first log on and click “Start Building” what do I choose if I want to create an

Anvil is for creating web apps. Things like Gmail, Twitter, Facebook, that sort of thing.

While it isn’t for creating websites, Android apps, or iOS apps, you can use it to mimic those.

For example, you can create a web app that’s mostly just static content to mimic a website.

You can use some external tools to deploy your web app to Android or iOS (in the same way that any HTML5 app can be deployed on mobile).

When you click Start Building, what you choose just depends on what you want the web app to look like. My advice is to create a new app from the Material Design 3 theme, and then follow through the various tutorials to get a feel for how to work with Anvil.
