How to connect app to ScaleGrid mysql

I have a question about databases hosted on ScaleGrid: is there a way to plug data into an Anvil app?

I can connect to the db from a notebook running on my machine, but I receive:

OperationalError: (2003, "Can’t connect to MySQL server…

when I try to connect from my Anvil app.

Looks like I need to specify what is the IP from which the app is making the call, and then add it to the list of allowed IP… anyone tried to connect these two services and can give some advices?
