Google Maps REQUEST DENIED with valid API key

I have registered for an API key and added it to the Google Maps API key input in Anvil but still get the error
ExternalError: Geocode failed: REQUEST_DENIED

Its as if the key is not being accepted and the Anvil Group Key is still being used.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

I haven’t been able to recreate this issue. Would it be possible to get a clone link of an app that demonstrates the problem?
