Google cloud auth

I’m attempting to connect to Google BigQuery, but I don’t see a way of doing so securely. Is there something obvious I’m missing about the authentication process? Is there an easy way of doing this?

Currently, I’m considering just creating/deleting the JSON file as needed for key based authentication.

I’m sure this is pretty simple, but can’t figure it out… I need to authenticate with Google Cloud Platform to access storage buckets using google-cloud-storage (which has been confirmed as installed).
