Get notifications in phone(need ideas)

What I’m trying to do:
I want to get notifications in phone, even when the app is not running(in intervals). I couldn’t find anything related to this. Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

here’s a hacky way to do it - get the app to send an email to zapier and then get zapier to turn that into an SMS.

A paid version would be to use twilio to send text very easily. You could also set up notifications, but that is road I haven’t taken.
