[FIXED] Collaborator unable to accept invite from me

I’m trying to add a collaborator. The invite gets sent ok, but when they click the link they get this :

They are on a personal plan - do they have to be on a business plan to join a project? The docs suggest they do but this person has, in the past, been able to accept an invite using even a free plan.

EDIT - actually, the docs say this :

You can only share apps with users using the same Anvil subscription as you, or with Anvil support staff.

So I might have misunderstood how this works …

So I have this :

How do I get someone to collaborate? Do I need to give them my subscription key as well? Sounds a bit risky (how do I revoke it if they leave?)

Ah, I see now I think - they have to be part of my organisation. But how do I add them?

Hi @david.wylie,

You can only share apps with users using the same Anvil subscription as you, or with Anvil support staff.

^This part of the docs is referring to adding collaborators to a specific app so that they can actually work on the app with you. You add collaborators by going into the Settings of a particular app and adding a collaborator. A collaborator must be part of your organization or Anvil staff.

What you are trying to do is actually add someone to your Anvil organization (the correct first step). This then allows you to add them as a collaborator. However, it seems like there is a bug with adding developers to your organization. We’re looking into it, and I’ll update this thread.

The issue should now be fixed! @david.wylie can your collaborator try again to join your organization?

Thanks, @brooke , as soon as they are back online I’ll get them to check.

Actually, I’m still getting “This is not a valid licence key”.

What causes that?
