Embed anvil app into body of email

Hi all,

Is it possible to have an anvil app show up in the body of an email?

I’d like to send a poll to staff and it would be convenient if they could open their email and click a button in the visible app, rather than having them click on the app link first to be redirected.

I realize that there may be interactions with the mail service, but just wondered if anyone has ever done this before.

I’ve been embedding Anvil forms into a static website using iframes. Unfortunately, most email clients will not render iframes. The same issue exists with forms and Javascript. MailChimp has all those on their don’t use list: https://mailchimp.com/help/limitations-of-html-email/

Best I’ve ever done is to have “Click this link for YES” and another for no, with the links being api calls into anvil. Not what you want but maybe a compromise.
