Seems a lot you are trying to accomplish with Repeating Panels could be easily accomplished by expanding a dropdown permanenly, making a Listbox; displaying data and allowing to pull up other selected data or run a function. Back in the day with MS Access, I can’t tell you the number of solutions made using the humble Listbox. Being able to interate a listbox, select by row/highlight, and multiselect were all great features. All we’d need to get that rolling would be to expand the dropbox, making a listbox, and drop that new icon onto the Toolbox. MS Access had it’s issues, but got a lot right. And there was a reason they had both a dropdown (combo box) and a listbox.
