In most IDEs (on Linux at least) I can highlight text then click the scroll wheel on my mouse (which I think is generally called “middle clicking”?) to paste the highlighted contents wherever my mouse is currently pointing.
I use it so often that it’s very much missed in Anvil’s IDE.
