"Connection to server failed"

I got a “Connection to server failed” error a couple times today for the first time (that I’ve noticed). Then the alert appears saying that my connection has been lost, with a “Refresh” button. I refresh and it works fine.

Could that just be caused by internet connection issues on my end?

I noticed this error on my mobile devices.

I don’t recall seeing it since then myself, but I do see it popping up for users. My best guess is that it is internet connection issues.
