Can't add components to flow_panel

I have just come back to an app I’ve not updated in a few weeks. Tried to add a component (link) to an existing flow panel, but it won’t let me.

It’s hard to describe (and my stupid video recording thinggybobber is playing up, but if you look at this picture, you can see I have the flow panel selected :

Now, if I try and add a new component to the right of the drop down box, the blue vertical line showing the likely drop off point appears between the lable and the drop down. If I release it there, the drop down gets pushed out of the flow panel. I cannot get the component to add to the left of the drop down.

Firefox latest, Ubuntu 22.04.

Anyone else seeing this? I am going to try more things, but this used to work ok.

I’ve gotten something similar on Chrome once in a blue moon, where I have to drop it somewhere else in the flow panel and then rearrange the components.

I have to do this regularly

Creating a new one is fine, but I can’t edit the old one. Fortunately these are quite simple ones, but still.

I might start building my pages in code …

When it happens to me, I usually add a button here and there and try again. If adding a button doesn’t help, I add the components and leave them wherever they want to go, then clone the app and edit the yaml file, moving them up or down and paying attention to the indentation.

I always clone all my apps, so this step takes just 30 seconds for me.

When I have to do this, I always do a Commit first. Just in case…

Hi All,

Thanks for raising this.

Can we get a clone link for an app which is showing this behaviour? Or a commit hash and app ID?

Thanks,
Ryan
