I’m trying to clone my app, however it keeps returning the following error:
“Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘id’)”

I usually get this message immediately after a git push
from my local repository. I interpret it to mean that the browser’s cache (of the last-edited app) is no longer valid.
Refreshing the browser usually clears it for me. Failing that, closing the browser entirely (all windows), and restarting it.
I’ve tried refreshing the browser and also restarting it and even restarting my whole PC. I’ve even waited one day before trying again, all of these still return the same error.
As a Forum volunteer, sorry to say I’ve nothing to add at this point. Looks like it’s time for you to email Anvil support.
Can you show the clone link?
You can remove the app id, so no one will clone your app, but seeing the other parts of the clone url may help.
I’m getting the same error message.
At this point I think you should follow @p.colbert advice and contact the support.
And, after the problem is fixed, you could also disable the clone link, so no one will clone your app in the future.
Already reset it and will contact support, thank you
Hi @cognimetrics,
Does the original app run fine? I’ve tried going to the published URL of that app and it won’t load, so I suspect it’s an issue with the app being broken, not the clone link being wrong.
The original app runs fine and works without errors. It’s a bit slow but it doesn’t have errors. Also, I have a custom domain for my app.
