Trying to kill a background task - has been running for an hour should only be a few minutes.
Tried the kill button on the background task page.
My app is very large and confidential so would rather not try and share a clone but has been running well for many months. Have not seen this happen before.
I haven’t needed to do this, but you might email the Task ID to support@anvil.works, with an explanation.
There was also an outage around this time, do you have any indicators that it is actually still running?
It might just be reporting that it is running because the task is unreachable after they fixed the outage and it is somehow unable to determine if it has stopped.
OK, great, thanks. Had been keeping an eye on it and it did get up to 3 hours but today checking it it did get cleared. Just ran it again and ran fine so quite relieved. Thanks for the input/feedback. A.
