Basically, run tests as you go in the IDE to ensure you aren’t braking any logical conditions, or that the app isn’t regressing. For a more specific idea of what I’ve used in the past, that has been an absolute dream, see NCrunch for visual studio here.
This is something I would actually pay extra to have in the IDE.
