Getting this occasionally, often on the simplest little test apps (def. no large images added!) :
Can’t get any rhyme or reason to it yet, but I’ll report more if I can get more info as to what I was doing.
Ok, now … I think in each case I was using anvil.http to retrieve a URL which I think failed, but the error occurred a while afterwards. Wonder if it inadvertently downloaded something massive, maybe?
Can’t seem to repeat it, but it’s in that area.
I have also received this error message. I’m not entirely sure what causes it but I don’t have any images in the app I was working on and all of the anvil.works sites stuff was running slow for me (pages wouldn’t load etc.). I don’t think my internet had dropped out but it may have.
It kind of sounds to me like a generic catch all error message to me when something goes wrong while the app editor is trying to save. But given I have very little experience with anvil so far and I have only received this error a couple of times in the course of an hour or so, I cannot say for sure. Hopefully this information helps reveal the underlying cause.
I am also getting this issue quite a bit. I am new to Anvil, but at the moment, and quite stuck since I can not edit anything. Thanks in advance.

When this happens, I log out, and restart the browser. That has always resolved it for me.
