App title and logo configuration - What are the dimensions for the logo?

Hello, this is my first post on Anvil forum and I am really happy to find Anvil!

I did a search on the documentation and here in the forum and could not find an answer for my question.

Could somebody tell me what are the dimensions for the logo of an app, so I can upload it correctly? Also, is there a preferred image format for this?

Another question: Documentation says the favicon is generated from the logo. What are the dimensions of the generated favicon? Is it 32 x 32?

@celson.aquino I’m probably not the person you want to hear from because I can’t directly answer your question. However, I used a 500x500px image and it looks amazing. The resolution is great on both the favicon and app logo.

Edit/Addition: I used a .png file.

Welcome to the Anvil forum!

You can use any logo size you like but the default is 512x512 which is the best size for PWAs.

Likewise, the default favicon is 16x16 but you can use any size you like.

We don’t have a recommended image format for the logo but here’s a useful guide if you’d like to learn about compatibility on the web and the pros/cons of popular formats:
